A new exhibition showcasing contemporary works from the museum’s collection by Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and non‑Indigenous artists focussing on moments of encounters.
These artists have responded to the symbolic nature of Cook and the various encounters with strangers that have occurred around the shorelines of their country over many years.
This travelling exhibition is part of the museum's Encounters Around Australia programming for Encounters 2020.
