Join us for a celebration of the incredible work being done by women across various scientific fields.

Just in time for International Women’s Day in March 2021, this event aims to inspire and equip the next generation of women toward achievement in Science and STEM.

This event will encourage High School aged girls to look beyond the lab coats and learn about some of the many possible careers in STEM. It will introduce students to inspiring speakers and presenters from a range of fields. Onsite activities on Friday, 5 March will give students the opportunity to attend live panel talks and discussions, go behind the scenes on exclusive tours and discuss future career possibilities with leading science organisations and universities.

This year will also see Women in Science going online with streamed panels and new virtual programs running from 5–12 of March.

This event is always a highlight of the museum's calendar of exciting education programs and we look forward to you joining us!

Tickets will be available from Term 1 2021. Contact Megan, our Assistant Education Officer, for more information: megan.baehnisch@sea.museum
