Reporting live in the Wild – 2 Day TV Presenting Workshop

Create and star in your own imaginative TV segments inspired by our Wildlife Photographer of the Year  exhibition. Learn to drive an underwater drone and capture unique underwater footage. Learn clever techniques in green-screen, scripting, directing, acting and film-making as you produce your own creative digital stories.

Cockatoo Island Adventures – 1 day Photography workshop

Ferry out to the spectacular shipyards of Cockatoo Island for an adventurous photography workshop. Build skills in using digital SLR cameras and learn photo editing techniques. Have your photos printed and exhibited in a special exhibition at the museum. 

This course is held in partnership with Spitting Image Photography and the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust. 

Suitable to all levels of experience.  

All equipment provided.  

General information

  • Arrive in the museum foyer for registration 5–10 minutes prior to the program.
  • Parents/carers will be required to sign permission forms on the day
  • Participants are fully supervised for the programs
  • Participants should bring their own lunch/snacks and wear suitable clothing, sturdy shoes and sun protection for any time spent outdoors
  • All workshop materials are supplied
  • No printed tickets are necessary, we will check in via guestlist
